Did you try 'Search all add-ons' in the upper right corner of the Add-Ons Manager Window?

For some reason, QuickTime plugin is not listed in the plugins list but is still available to Firefox when clicked to activate. Don't really know why this is. If you are not seeing it appear when you search for it in the Add-Ons Manager, you may not have the plugin installed and available in the Finder (Library/Internet Plugins folder). Somebody please correct me if Firefox stores a copy of the QuickTime plugin elsewhere.
